iran blinks again | politics iran news [2009-09-30  17:29:22  EST]

Article Description: Iran's leaders are more scared of the Westerners with real nuclear sabres than continuing to jerry-build their own.

All comments are moderated. Serious comments with substance will get through the system, but not posts attempting to sell cult socialism, or similar idiocies. Aggressive trivia and other emotionalism will be binned, as will advertising and other spam attempts. Friendly chatter and serious content will be welcomed by yak-ville.

This amounts to acceptable posts are those that are fun or have substance or both. Some casual obscenity may be expunged as we have a large school readership.

If approved, your comment should appear within 24 hours.

The abelard yak-herd are normally up to their horns in work. While the yaks will attempt to comment if it seems useful, our intent is to get the discussion areas onto a self-sufficient foundation. Of course, we are quite likely to steal any useful ideas, or even reprint worthy comments, with attribution where relevant.

The only box you have to fill in is your comment. The other information, if you provide it, will be used in any attribution.

There is a way around the inconvenience of moderation: using TypeKey authentication. TypeKey is the authorisation system used by the MoveableType blogging software. TypeKey can be incorporated into any blog, so that the user (you!) does not need a separate login for each place. You also don't have to trust us with your login details: we never see them.

You can create a TypeKey account for free and anonymously. To make a TypeKey account, you need a valid email address. However, there is no problem using an anonymous free account, say from GMail, Hotmail or Yahoo. TypeKey does not tell us your address.

If you login into TypeKey, your first one or three comments will still be moderated. Assuming they fit the terms above, all subsequent comments will be approved automatically, on condition of continuing good behaviour.
