housing mess

"...354,700 new homes were built in France last year, compared with 140,880 across the UK, a pathetically inadequate number barely half of that required. The French were actually bitterly disappointed with their own performance: their recent average has been around 400,000 homes a year.

"Politics is complicated, of course, with many variables explaining how people vote; but it is clear that housing status is one of the central determinants. When YouGov surveyed 100,000 general election voters, it discovered that the Tories led Labour by 47-23 per cent among those who own their homes outright, and by 42-29 per cent among those with mortgages. But the parties were almost tied among private renters, with Labour enjoying a 25-point lead among social tenants. Another seven-point decline in the homeownership rate would cost the Tories dozens of seats; an increase could put Labour out of power for a generation."

Ninety years ago, the great Liberal Keynes, taught that:-

The important thing for Government is not to do things which individuals are doing already, and to do them a little better or a little worse; but to do those things which at present are not done at all. [The End of Laissez-Faire, 1926, part 4]

It is about time the fossils in the Conservative Party learned this lesson.

Socialists have a mad drive to set up a one-party dictatorship - one man, one vote - one time.Introduction - socialism & sociology

So many old Tory fossils in their natural hatred of socialism are inclined to be caught by the on/off logic that suggests that, if the Socialists want the State, the whole State and nothing but the State, then they, the Tory fossils, should then cancel the State entirely. This would end up in a dogmatism just as foolish as that of Socialism, even if a far less dangerous nonsense.

And for those who believe that Britain is being buried in concrete and tarmac resulting from 'urbanisation',

"Put another way, that means almost 93% of the UK is not urban. But even that isn't the end of the story because urban is not the same as built on.

In urban England, for example, the researchers found that just over half the land (54%) in our towns and cities is greenspace - parks, allotments, sports pitches and so on

Furthermore, domestic gardens account for another 18% of urban land use; rivers, canals, lakes and reservoirs an additional 6.6%."

"Perhaps our impressions are the result of lives largely spent in the 2% of the country that has been concreted over - at work, at home or travelling between the two in the car or on the bus.

"The lesson might be that we need to celebrate the truth about our green and pleasant land.

"Or perhaps it simply tells us we really should get out more." [Quoted from bbc.com]

hateful cameron intends to make doleys work for their money

And he wants that they do this instead of receiving free handouts.

This is expected to be David Cameron's poll tax.

Why on earth shouldn't doleys be kept by people who want to work?
It's not as if doleys want to work. So why on earth can't doleys tune out if that what they want to do?

How dare David Cameron and George Osborne provide jobs for Britain?
Such a policy is designed to undermine the self-respect of doleys by removing their excuse for lazing around.

It just isn't fair or reasonable. Only NewOld Labour understand the needs of the doleys who are too important to work.

I feel really sorry for these people. They were made to be gentlemen, not to toil and sweat.

Just because they have crummy accents and can only use the words not in any respectable dictionary does not mean they cannot have aspirations.

corbyn backpedalling on policies - beware

That's every policy that got him elected by the idiocracy.

"EU: Corbyn warned Labour would not give Cameron a “blank cheque” on renegotiation, before abandoning decades of Bennite Euroscepticism to u-turn: “Labour will be campaigning in the referendum for the UK to stay in the European Union… regardless of the outcome of the Government’s renegotiation.”

"Trident: “Conference ought to be the place where there is open discussion [on Trident]” said Corbyn on Andrew Marr, before he was forced into a humiliating climbdown as the unions blocked his attempt to force a vote.

"Free schools: ..., People’s QE: ..., Robin Hood Tax: ..., Railways: ...., Public ownership: ...."

What Jeremy Corbyn had said prior to his election as Labour leader is what he believes. Clearly, he lied to get the leadership.

And now he has a base, he is lying to the public in order to fool the masses.

Doubtless, if the public are ever foolish enough to vote for NewOld Labour and Corbyn is installed in no. 10, he will re-reverse himself all over again.
That is how socialists behave.

No socialist party can ever get elected if they tell the truth.

A UK prime minister has incredible power. If the Jeremy Corbyn reaches no. 10, he will be able to act as a dictator - as any PM could.

It is foolish ever to treat the disease of socialism as if it is benign. While every person, however ignorant, can vote, the very most you can hope for is remission.

Britain is a five-year survivor of a fifteen year attack of this mental and social disease. The devastation that has wrought will be with us for many more years The disease requires constant monitoring, and vigilance should never be relaxed.

Yes, Corbyn is off his trolley, but so is any socialist 'leader. While that can be a source of endless amusement among people who just cannot believe anyone could possibly mean the nonsense socialists preach, that does not mean that Corbyn cannot grab power, just a so many of his kind have managed before.

There remain plentiful voters who are ignorant enough to vote for the blandishments of dishonest and corrupt rabble rousers.

Education is the only viable defence against their utter nonsense. From the campaign for franchise by examination.

good - bliar understands politics, despite serving the mad cult

Poor old Tony Blair openly admits he doesn't undestand that the internet and social media have changed the political terms of trade.

Well, I do, Mister Bliar, and politicians are going to have to learn fast if we are not to return to mob rule.

"There is a politics of parallel reality going on, in which reason is an irritation, evidence a distraction, emotional impact is king and the only thing that counts is feeling good about it all."

Bliar is correct that they are unreasoning, but that's the nature of socialism. Only this time it is coming back to bite him.

"Anyone listening? Nope. In fact, the opposite. It actually makes them more likely to support him. It is like a driver coming to a roadblock on a road they’ve never travelled before and three grizzled veterans say: “Don’t go any further, we have been up and down this road many times and we’re warning you there are falling rocks, mudslides, dangerous hairpin bends and then a sheer drop.” And the driver says: “Screw you, stop patronising me. I know what I’m doing.” "

The real difference is the net. With help of the net, a mob can gather on the fringes of any party, and elect any moron or mindless rabble rouser.

Tony Bliar is a vacuous and vain fellow. He knows no history of the times when mobs put their latest exploiter into power, and societies paid with megadeaths.

Before the net, there were little in-groups who manipulated their man into power, like the idiots who took over the Conservative Party, while making the party unelectable. The result was that Bliar was given his lucky break, pandering to his union paymasters, while publically displaying his popular Bambi persona for the useful idiots in the constituencies.

Then the Tories got a real leader again in David Cameron and Bliar was toast.

The union narrow interest put Miliband in, but fortunately the UK had a real alternative.

Now, the street mobs have back their voices, last seen at mass meetings, the start of radio etc.

Technology changes society, Mister Bliar.

Introduction - socialism & sociologyWhat happens when both main parties produce a crowd pleaser (manipulator) at the same time? In the United States, the 'Democrats' have Obama and Saunders and lying Hillary.
And now the Republicans have produced Donald Trump.

jerry corvyn - trusty bourgeois capitalist

What is it about these bourgeois socialists? We have principles, but if you don't like them, we have other principles.

Marker at abelard.org Jeremy Corbyn signing his leather shoes at Small StepsThis faithful socialist has voted against his own socialist Labour Party 533 times.

Marker at abelard.org Loyal to his country, he invited Jerry Adams, then still an unreconstructed domestic terrorist, to the House of Commons.

Marker at abelard.org A vegetarian, he wears leather lace-up shoes (or leather sandals).

Marker at abelard.org He is an oftimes faithful husband.

    • Two years ago, Corbyn persuaded some Mexican coffee merchant to marry him, the third on his bourgeois trek.
Clearly a man of principle! The serial marrier now hooks up with a capitalist entrepreneur.

    • "But here is the first conundrum. Jeremy Corbyn is, of course, the 'hard left' Labour MP who put his principles before his family, ending his 12-year marriage after his wife, Claudia, insisted their eldest child must go to grammar school. It emerged last week that the couple have been separated for two years. How then can they have moved house together? [Quoted from theguardian.com/uk May, 1999]

"At Adams Grammar School in Newport, Jeremy was one of just two Labour supporters when the boys held a mock election in 1964.

"Friend Bob Mallett recalled Corbyn being jeered by his right-wing schoolmates: “Jeremy was the Labour candidate and I his campaign manager because at a middle-class boarding grammar school in leafy Shropshire, there weren’t many socialists. We were trounced.” [Quoted from sunnation.co.uk]

"As marriage break-ups go, they both say theirs has been amicable. They have continued living under the same roof throughout, to allow the children constant contact with both parents. When they decided to move, they found a house divided into flats, allowing them separate living spaces. Crucially, it is located in his North Islington constituency. They were in contact all last all week, when he was abroad and she had tabloid journalists at the front door." [Quoted from theguardian.com/uk May, 1999]

Here is what the great prophet Marx has to say on marriage:

On bourgeois marriage
From the Manifesto of the Communist Party, Chapter 2 [2]

"On what foundation is the present family, the bourgeois family, based? On capital, on private gain. In its completely developed form, this family exists only among the bourgeoisie. But this state of things finds its complement in the practical absence of the family among proletarians, and in public prostitution

"The bourgeois family will vanish as a matter of course when its complement vanishes, and both will vanish with the vanishing of capital."

It continues:

"The bourgeois claptrap about the family and education, about the hallowed correlation of parents and child, becomes all the more disgusting, the more, by the action of Modern Industry, all the family ties among the proletarians are torn asunder, and their children transformed into simple articles of commerce and instruments of labor."
 —
"The bourgeois sees his wife a mere instrument of production. He hears that the instruments of production are to be exploited in common, and, naturally, can come to no other conclusion that the lot of being common to all will likewise fall to the women.

"He has not even a suspicion that the real point aimed at is to do away with the status of women as mere instruments of production.

"For the rest, nothing is more ridiculous than the virtuous indignation of our bourgeois at the community of women which, they pretend, is to be openly and officially established by the Communists. The Communists have no need to introduce free love; it has existed almost from time immemorial.

"Our bourgeois, not content with having wives and daughters of their proletarians at their disposal, not to speak of common prostitutes, take the greatest pleasure in seducing each other's wives.

"Bourgeois marriage is, in reality, a system of wives in common and thus, at the most, what the Communists might possibly be reproached with is that they desire to introduce, in substitution for a hypocritically concealed, an openly legalized system of free love. For the rest, it is self-evident that the abolition of the present system of production must bring with it the abolition of free love springing from that system, i.e., of prostitution both public and private."

Even Red Ed Miliband caved when faced with the dim distant prospect of no. 10.

"...They are in their 40s, they have two children, and they have an apparently contented relationship. He is an avowed atheist. He believes that families can be just as stable outside marriage as within it. So why does he also maintain that marriage is "a very important institution"?

"What he has said so far about his decision to wed suggests, on the contrary, that he doesn't regard the institution as important at all. Last year, in a magazine interview, he reminded readers that Justine was not his wife, adding jokingly (but tellingly): "Thank God for that, probably." Later he said he was "too busy" to get married. But after deciding to marry, and at a time when he is presumably still busy, he told the local newspaper in his Doncaster constituency: "This is just something we think is right for us . . . It's the right time for us to do this, and I'm really looking forward to a lovely day." That got us nowhere, but yesterday he went a little further when he told Davis that to get married was his way of expressing his love and commitment to Justine." [Quoted from http://www.theguardian.com]

It seems someone has traced The Corvyd's 'education'.

Like Brown the Clown, who took ten years to get a phd in Scotch Labour pamphlets, Corbyn studied The Cult in theological college, but he was thrown out.

"Corbyn’s stint on the Trade Union Studies degree course at North London Polytechnic ended when he rowed with his lecturers about the syllabus.

"Piers [Corbyn's brother] said: “Jeremy had his studies terminated because he had big arguments with the people in charge. He probably knew more than them.”

"He became MP for Islington North in 1983. Such is his devotion to politics that in 1987, when his mum Naomi died, he and Piers attended a left-wing meeting in the Midlands rather than return home." [Quoted from sunnation.co.uk]

are fears of days past coming to pass?

A while ago, an obscure socialist booklet from 1933 was added to abelard.org, The Communist solar system. The booklet was written by Herbert Morrison, a major builder of the Labour Party. Until now, The Communist solar system had not been easily available on the net.

The Communist solar system is an analysis of the various socialist groups that Morrison thought weren't real socialists, and who were persistently trying to infiltrate and take over the party.

I hear now that the 'new' Labour Party is once more in fear that the self-same groups that were trying to take ove the party in 1933, have now been empowered by the selling of votes in the party for £3 a go.

editorial commentary

Herbert Morrison was the typical unimaginative, petty bureaucrat, here seeking to purge the Labour Party of any politically incorrect deviations from the party line. This prototypical bureaucrat showed great energy and attention to detail. Such men are dangerous. He was probably the most effective bureaucrat that the British Labour Party even attracted. He spent his life in pursuit of socialism.

This pamphlet was published in September 1933, Hitler had obtained power in Germany at the end of January 1933.

It was Morrison who steered through the radical Leftist manifesto of the UK Labour Party immediately after World War Two, until he had taken over approximately 20% of the British economy. The only reason that the Labour Party did not go much further was that the British electorate increasingly turned against the Labour Party programme, thus threatening it with the loss of power. In fact, Labour only just scraped in at the next general election, and was ejected shortly thereafter. They were not re-elected for almost exactly thirteen years. That seems to be how long it takes for people to forget.

The complete document appears verbatim at abelard.org.

Hebert Morrison was a grandfather of Peter Mandelson!
