rational analysis and education to independence to be part of ‘therapy’? Who owns the child?
The need for this aspect of education is considerable, but how will it be delivered? I direct your attention to the problems generated when ‘therapy’ is determined by pressure to conformity, fashion and dependence. How is the State to supply psychological ‘counseling’ in an environment where the agents of the state have a very low level of training and ability? Then we have this ludicrous quote from the linked item:-
As if psychological understanding is not an essential integral part of any adequate education. |
