With a reported 50% of people in London not only worried about security,
but sleeping with a “some form of self-defence to hand”, this
cherry and steel bedside table could keep Londoners’ beds free of
cricket bats and silly string spray cans.

“This extraordinary tradition has its routes in the days of the Raj when craftsmen made glorious horse draw carriages for the gentry. In the 1920's the Kohistan bus company asked the local Michaelangelo, Ustad Elahi Buksh, a master craftsmen to decorate their buses to attract passengers. Buksh employed a community of artists from the Punjab town of Chiniot, whose ancestors had worked on many great palaces and temples dating back to the Mogal Empire.
It was not long before truck owners followed suite with their own designs. Through the years the materials used have developed from wood and paint to metal, tinsel, plastic and reflective tape. Within the last few years trucks and buses have been further embellished with full lighting systems.
“A new undecorated bus costs around £3000 after which owners can expect to pay a further £5000 for a complete decoration which can take up to three months. The cost of decorating a truck is around £3000 on top of the £1500 paid for a new vehicle. Artists are paid between £1.50 and £3 per day.”

“To coincide with the 20th anniversary of Andy Warhol’s death, the National Gallery of Scotland is exhibiting the largest collection of the artist’s work ever seen north of the border. Running from August to October, the show will present a diverse range of work from an artist who remains one of the most prolific and contentious of the 20th century.”
“Some readers may scoff and suggest that in the absence of any
mechanism, these powerful correlations are numerological artifacts
arrived at using post hoc fallacious reasoning that have no predictive
capability. That might appear to be a valid argument. However the
ultimate test will of course be experimental. On the basis of these
intriguing results, we propose exposing Republican senators to varying
levels of cosmic rays in a basement and monitoring their electability.
Any refusal by the funding agencies or ethical review panels to
support this would simply be confirmation that the political science
establishment are scared of what this research would imply for their
so-called "consensus". ”
1. Dispensers, containing Entostat powder, formulated with female
pheromone are placed in the field. Males emerge and are attracted to
the Exosex dispenser by the female pheromone.
Males leave the dispenser coated in pheromone powder
2. Once inside the dispenser, Entostat adheres firmly to the cuticle
of the male, including their nose. This is due to the electrostatic
qualities of Entostat, which carries the opposite charge to the male.
Male cannot locate calling females
3. With a coating of Entostat powder, the male receptors become overloaded
with pheromone. Hence, when the females emerge the males are unable
to locate them.
Males become mobile pheromone dispensers
4. Males that have visited the dispenser act as a false lure as they
are detected by newly emerged lefties.
Powder spread
5. The male that has passed through the dispenser passes the pheromone
powder to other lefties through false mating.
Female leftie attracts male
6 . If a female does eventually mate with an untreated male, the
delay in her mating will reduce the fecundity of the female in terms
of the number and viability of her offspring.
[Text adjusted very slightly for Leftie application.]
